Duke Energy Fan Distribution Program

With the hot days ahead for Forsyth County, many are struggling to stay comfortable. In an effort to help low income seniors, Duke Energy is distributing fans at no charge. In order to receive a fan, you must:

• Be 60 years of age or older
• Be a resident of Forsyth County
• Have a home/apartment situation that presents a threat to the person’s health and well-being.
• Limit one per household

You must bring with you proof of age and your current address (i.e. picture ID or birth certificate and recent bill). Fans may be picked up at Senior Services, 2895 Shorefair Drive between the hours of 8:30 a.m. and 4:30 p.m. Monday through Friday.
