Are you ready to take charge of your health without sacrificing delicious food? The N.C. Cooperative Extension, Forsyth County Center, and the William G. White, Jr. Family YMCA are teaming up to bring you Dining with Diabetes, a free, four-part series designed to give you the skills and confidence to manage your diabetes through healthy cooking and eating.
What to Expect
This isn’t your average lecture! This interactive series will equip you with the practical skills to prepare nutritious and flavorful meals. You’ll learn how to modify recipes, choose ingredients wisely, create dishes that are both good for you and a pleasure to eat; AND, you will have the chance to taste-test the recipes demonstrated. We believe that managing diabetes should never mean giving up the joy of delicious food.
