The second Forsyth County Behavioral Health Symposium is October 9, 2026!

Forsyth County Behavioral Health Services will host its second Behavioral Health Symposium on Friday, October 9, 2026. The Behavioral Health Symposium will be at Forsyth Technical Community College in the Robert L Strickland Conference Center. The event will begin promptly at 9:30 am and end at 3:30 pm. Check-in begins at 8:30am.

The theme is STIGMA. There will be an opening plenary with Dr. Lawrence Yang from Duke University. His work focuses on stigma as a multi-level determinant of health—spanning individual, clinical, and societal levels—through research, education, and training. We will host breakout sessions spanning all areas of behavioral health. Networking opportunities and resource sharing will also be available.

Registration is required for the event and space is limited. Registration is currently open. Registration will close at 5pm on Friday, September 25, 2026.

For any questions or additional information, please contact Forsyth County Behavioral Health Services at (336) 703-2600.
