Synopsis and Discussion
Both ozone and particle pollution levels have increased, Wednesday, to the MODERATE category. A few scattered showers and thunderstorms, later Wednesday, will keep the readings in check. High pressure, sitting off of the coast, will funnel deep moisture into the region, Thursday through Saturday. As a result, instability will increase, especially Friday and Saturday. While a few scattered showers and thunderstorms may develop, Thursday, the coverage will not be enough to prevent ozone and particle pollution from climbing into the low code YELLOW range. By Friday and Saturday, shower and thunderstorms will become more widespread helping to lower the AQI back to code GREEN, both days (GENTRY; gentrycd@forsyth.cc).

Air Monitoring Data
The Forsyth County Office of Environmental Assistance and Protection is making data
available from the county's air monitoring network as a public service. These data
represent the hourly data set from all of the sites within this network. Data from
Triad sites outside of Forsyth County are collected by the North Carolina Division
of Air Quality.
