AQI readings are largely unchanged versus yesterday with ozone in the mid Code Green range and particle pollution near the Code Green/Yellow threshold. Hurricane Erin will continue to pass by to our east as a cold front approaches from the northwest. Only low-end rain chances are on tap through the forecast period, however, the combination of periodic cloud cover and a clean source region means ozone will remain Code Green. Particle pollution levels are expected to hover right near the Code Green/Yellow threshold for the balance of the forecast period. (Greg Perrotte / perrotgt@forsyth.cc)
